A sandwich lunch will be provided
Through tasks, attendees will explore features of a safer recruitment process; learn how to plan a safer recruitment process, and make the right decisions for the selection and interview process.
Through discussions, attendees will explore information about the prevalence of abuse and profile of abusers and discuss how abusers operate within organisations.
Attendees will discuss the need to set acceptable standards of behaviour for staff and volunteers, and the necessity of maintaining an ongoing culture of vigilance within their schools/colleges.
At all times the training adheres to the current government legislation and guidance. Safer Recruitment Consortium materials are used for this course. They are DFE backed and resources/training materials are regularly updated.
