Scything with Rice Spann

Saturday, 19 May 2012 9am - 12:30pm

  • Bookings end on May 19 at 8:00am.

The scythe is a wonderfully efficient tool for the farmer and homeowner alike. It can be used for mowing hay, maintaining hard to cut areas around trees and fences, or even mowing the lawn. Come learn about getting the right scythe blade for your situation, proper fit, sharpening and mowing technique. Bring your scythe if you have one. We will have some loaners available for the class.
