Welcome to Karuna Zen Yoga

I welcome everyone who wants to make a positive shift in their lives, whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for a while. I'll guide and support you through the practice sharing my knowledge and experience with you.

Regular yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness, improves focus, increases body awareness and strength, relieves chronic stress, helps to release tension and boost energy. This will lead you to live a healthier and more balanced life.

GUIDELINES FOR NEW STUDENTS

Comfortable non restrictive clothes

To avoid digestive discomfort, wait an hour after eating a large meal before practising yoga.

To avoid slipping, practice standing poses, and other poses that require balance, barefoot or with socks that have sticky soles.

HOW TO PRACTICE YOGA POSTURES

Please practice the yoga postures on your own pace and mindfully. If a pose hurts ease out slowly then go back into it more gently. You can stop and rest anytime you wish throughout the session. If you are unsure of anything, please ask your teacher for more guidance.
