London Projections in Practice Week 28th September - 1st October

The UK Climate Projections have been created to help the UK to plan for a changing climate. The Projections contain information on observed and future climate change, based on the latest scientific understanding.

The London Projections in Practice week is a series of free, stand-alone events aimed at equipping delegates with the right training and guidance to be able to use the UK Climate Projections to assess the risks and opportunities the changing climate could bring for their organisations. The week includes a launch, evening reception for businesses, one day event for London Boroughs and their partners, one day event for Built Environment & Infrastructure Professionals, general practitioner sessions and User Interface training.

The London Borough day, Built Environment day and practitioner sessions include a mixture of presentations and workshops with an introduction to the UKCP09 tools and User Interface. You will not need to attend more than one of these days/sessions. The separate User Interface training is detailed, hands-on IT training for users who wish to create their own maps and graphs or access underlying data. Please note that spaces on these training sessions are limited to 10 delegates per session.
