Yorkshire and the Humber Projections in Practice Week 21st - 24th Sept 09

UK Climate Projections 09 help us understand possible impacts in the UK and the need to reduce our emissions. They show us the reality of climate change and help us understand both the importance of the need to reduce our emissions and adapt to inevitable changes. A great deal of information is available including pre-prepared maps and graphs, which are available online to anyone. The purpose of providing information on the possible future climate is to help those needing to plan how they will adapt to help society and the natural environment to cope with a changing climate.

The Projections in Practice (PiP) programme is aimed at equipping organisations with the right training and guidance to be able to adapt to our changing climate - helping you make the most of the UK Climate Projections 09 in planning and risk management.
