UK Climate Projections 2009: Projections in Practice

Welcome to the booking site for the South West's UKCP09: Projections in Practice. This regional training week is being held from Monday 14th September to Friday 18th September 2009 at the Genesis Centre in Taunton. The week consists of 9 half-day workshops, delivered by the UK Climate Impacts Programme (UKCIP), which will give delegates a more in-depth understanding of the practical application of UKCP09.

In addition to open sessions, there are specific workshops for: Regional decision-makers; Local Authorities and Local Strategic Partnerships; Planners; Biodiversity and Nature Conversation; and Flood and Coastal Risk Management. Please ensure that you book on to the most appropriate workshop where possible.

There are also 9 User Interface sessions for users who wish to create their own maps or graphs, access the underlying data or use the analytical tools (such as the weather generator) that have been provided to support UKCP09. Please note that places on these sessions are very limited and will not be confirmed immediately.
