Miixer CIC presents the 1984 edit
In a crazy, dystopian world of lockdowns, fake news, brutal dictators, global migration and spiralling costs, we are glad to be back at our Ferry Rd venue; fighting to keep good stuff out of landfill.
This first event is ticketed, with all ticket proceeds going to Hope and Aid Direct who procure and distribute aid directly to those that need it most. When we secured a supply of urgent medical supplies for Ukraine this is the organisation that stepped up to the plate to deal with the logistics.
Welcome to our curated sale of the good, bad, and the ugly.
We have opened Room 101 and released a horrific assortment of artworks for your pleasure. There will be something for everyone to hate.
The Pay What You Want bookshop is back (and will be opening regularly in the future), with a special focus on Sci-Fi, and visions of dystopia.
As always, there will be a huge assortment of vintage treasures, mid century modern and antique furniture, bikes, electronics, bric a brac, and weird stuff; all sold at prices you won’t find anywhere else.
We understand some will be disappointed that this is a paid event, but rest assured, business will commence as normal shortly and we have tonnes of great stock which we are holding back for you. Demand is such that at this one event we’re hoping to raise some charitable funds for a great cause. We hope you understand.
Ps. Normal open to all, un-ticketed events will commence on the 25th March and the PWYW bookshop will also resume normal trading from then.
