The Digital Marketing for Games course has been designed to be relevant to developers and publishers and will be run and fully accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). Course content includes:

  • How effective marketing can improve discoverability on digital marketplaces
  • A look at the latest games industry case studies and examples of how other sectors successfully market themselves digitally
  • How to understand your audience – behavioural segmentation, using digital channels to understand consumers
  • The role of mobile and how to use it to sell and promote games
  • Selecting the right channels: how to reach new consumers through digital advertising, SEO and search ads and a look at the latest developments in social media marketing

  • This programme is aimed at individuals with some experience of digital marketing or selling games on digital platforms who want to deepen their knowledge and skills.

How much does it cost?

The rates are:

For Ukie members and non-members (where businesses have a gaming focus) discounts are available on the standard CIM rate of £550:

  • Discounted rate for Ukie members - £150. (£150 of discount is provided by government training grant. The rest is subsidised)

  • Non Ukie member rate £200 (£150 of discount is provided by government training grant. The rest is subsidised)

  • All prices are exclusive of VAT.
