Nuffield Research Placements are engaging, real-life research projects, where Year 12 students have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution towards the work of a host organisation.

This session is aimed people from at businesses, academic institutions and other relevant stakeholders who would be interested in finding out more about what is involved in hosting a placement student.

This brief introduction will explore:

  • What does a Nuffield Research Placement involve for a student?
  • What's involved in hosting a placement?
  • What are the benefits of getting involved as a placement provider?
  • How to apply to be a placement provider

Hosted by All About STEM, Nuffield Coordinator for the North West, the session is open to employers, HEIs, STEM Ambassadors and other relevant stakeholders located in Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
