This workshop is a follow-on from our "Lift-off!" workshop in January, which explored key transitions in the standing series and first half of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. However, it is not necessary that you attended the January workshop in order to join this one.
Rachel & Susana will guide you through an exploration of transitions in the second half of the Primary Series. We will revisit the concepts from the January workshop - transferring weight from feet to hands in standing, and building the foundations to lift and jump back from seated - before progressing to the arm balance transitions from Bhujapidasana and Kurmasana/Supta Kurmasana.
This is an opportunity to get some tips on finding your flow in some of the more complex Vinyasa transitions, as well as revisit the fundamentals of the vinyasa method. Most of all though, it's an opportunity to have some fun trying out new transitions to incorporate into your practice.

The Signal Box Centre, off Clarendon Road, Cambridge, CB2 8DB
From Brooklands Avenue, turn into Clarendon Road (first left if you're coming from Hills Road). At the end of Clarendon Road, turn left and The Signal Box Centre is straight ahead of you, to the left of the stepped water feature. Note that the entrance is on the left side of the building as you approach, and so walk around the building to find your way in.
