This course is suitable for those who are completely new to yoga or Ashtanga Yoga, as well as those who already have some experience and would like to revisit the basics, establish a home practice, and/or join our Mysore (assisted self-practice) sessions.
We start with a Saturday morning 2-hour workshop to cover the basic aspects of Ashtanga Yoga - bringing an awareness to breath, learning to synchronise movement with breath, and starting to practise the sun salutations and first few standing postures of the Ashtanga Yoga series.
We then continue on selected weekday mornings over 2 weeks, to build on the core concepts covered during the workshop, and to work towards developing a safe personal yoga practice.
The Saturday and Wednesday sessions will be held at The Signal Box Centre, while the Monday and Friday sessions will be held at The Bodywise Studio.

If you wish to cancel your booking, please contact us (email@example.com). Please note that we will only provide a refund, less a cancellation fee of 10% of the cost of the course, if we receive the cancellation request at least 30 days before the start of the course. For cancellations received after this date, there will be no refund unless your place can be filled from a waiting list, in which case we will refund the fee less a cancellation fee of 20% of the cost of the course.
