In this session we will explore how as coaches you can incorporate aspects of sport psychology to help you create positive performance environments for your riders, this will include; creating excellent for all regardless of level, dealing with problem situations and managing expectations. We will also look at when to ask for help, how that can be facilitated and how you can create support networks to enhance your coaching.

Open to anyone with an interest in coaching riders.

Moira has worked as a sport psychologist for over 20 years across a range of sports. In the last 15 years she has worked with the GB Pony Squad, presented on sport psychology to the BEF, BHS, and other equestrian bodies and has been instrumental in setting sport psychology and sport science programmes within the BD High Performance Camps, National Academies and within the BD NW Region as well as her work with individual equestrian athletes.
