1 Day Adult Summer Camp - Zippers! - Ages 17 and up - For Strong Beginners

Beehive Craft Studio’s 1 Day Adult Sewing Camp is a great way for you to learn how to use a sewing machine safely, how to thread your machine and wind a bobbin, how to sew a straight line and turn corners, etc. In this one day workshop students will gain zipper skills with confidence. The workshop will begin with a simple zippered pouch and expand from there with one or two additional patterns given time.

For strong beginners who can sew a straight line and thread their machine or those that need a refresher.

Teacher: Kim Place. Kim has been teaching sewing lessons for the past 7 years. She's taught in West Austin and Dripping Springs and is excited to be bringing workshops to Central Austin.

$55 for 3 hour workshop

Additional fabric supplies required:
4 Fat Quarters
1/2 yard of fusible fleece or equivalent
2-3 10-12" zippers

CLASS POLICIES
o Your spot will not be reserved in the class until payment is made in full.
o All students or their Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver before participating in class activities. This should be provided as a check box in your checkout process.
o This class has a 3 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o COVID Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that health conditions would make attending class dangerous for teachers and students. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o Mask Policy: All students are strongly encouraged to wear masks during workshop time if there is a student or teacher requesting masks.

o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
o Everyone works at different speeds and while we expect everyone to finish by the end of the workshop we can't guarantee it!
