Make a Tote Bag! - Parent and Kids Beginner Workshop - Ages 8 and up

Beehive's Parent and Kids Beginner Workshop is a great way for you both to learn how to use a sewing machine safely, how to thread their machine and wind a bobbin, how to sew a straight line and turn corners, etc. We will be working on a tote bag for each participant.

Saturday, July 6 from
10am-1pm

Teacher: Kim Place. Kim has been teaching sewing lessons for the past 7 years. She's taught in West Austin and Dripping Springs and is excited to be bringing workshops to Central Austin.

Ages 8 and up.
This workshop series is for children and parents who are brand new to machine sewing or have attended a beginner workshop or camp with Beehive Craft Studio.

Registration is $80 which includes supplies.

If you or your student has a home sewing machine in good working order, they may bring it. Otherwise Beehive has machines available to borrow during the workshop.

CLASS POLICIES
o Your spot will not be reserved in the class until payment is made in full.
o All students or their Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver before participating in class activities. This should be provided as a check box in your checkout process.
o This class has a 3 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o COVID Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that health conditions would make attending class dangerous for teachers and students. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
o Everyone works at different speeds and while we expect everyone to finish by the end of the workshop we can't guarantee it!
