Festival of Music - Come & Sing Vivaldi

A wonderful opportunity to join together with pupils, parents, staff and friends of the School, to sing one of the most recognisable and well-loved choral works: Vivaldi’s Gloria! The wonderfully sunny nature of the Gloria, with its distinctive melodies and rhythms, is characteristic of all of Vivaldi’s music, giving it an immediate and universal appeal. Alongside the Vivaldi, we will hear from some of our most advanced string players, performing music by two of Vivaldi’s contemporaries – Arcangelo Corelli, and the English composer (who worked as a spy in Venice!) William Corbett.
