ABRSM Music Theory Course

This course is a week long intensive music theory course designed to move you up a music theory grade in just one week. Students work through their own ABRSM graded music theory book over the 5 days, covering two chapters per lesson and ending the week with a mock test. This course is suitable for all abilities, whether you are looking to pass Grade 5 theory as the prerequisite for sitting a Grade 6 practical music examination, you have never done any music theory before and are looking to start with Grade 1 and everything in between. We are a private ABRSM music theory centre so we are able to arrange the entries for the actual exam as well as provide invigilation on the day. As we are a private centre, we also benefit from expedited exam results (usually arriving just over one week after the exam is sat).

We run this course 3 times a year - Summer holidays, October half term + Easter holidays. If you can't make this course, or it is sold out, keep an eye out for the next one!

NB: If your child has not done one of our music theory courses previously, we will start your child at Grade 1 level unless we receive proof, through a mark sheet or certificate, that your child has passed a particular grade and is ready to work at a higher level.
