If you've never painted in oils, then this course offers you the opportunity to begin. Centred around the traditions of the Still Life, we will look at the technical processes and skills required to establish a clear working methodology .

Through observation, we will see how concepts of proportion, line, tone, composition, mark making and colour theory work together in constructing a sound pictorial space. As we progress through the course, you are encouraged to develop your own particular visual voice and direction, all under the watchful eye of an experienced artist and tutor.
