This group is open with mums with babies under 1 year old.
Tender Postnatal is a therapeutic group based around talking about our experiences, and feeling able to talk freely and openly about this tender postnatal life.
The group will be facilitated by Bryony, a counsellor and perinatal yoga teacher. Bryony has over 10 years experience working with families and has been a mother since 2002.
It is for Mothers who are feeling some rawness, sensitivity or tenderness in the experience of mothering. It may be that you've had a difficult start, or you live with anxiety or low mood. For some, past experiences, or family dynamics may be a source of difficulty.
It might be clear to you why you're feeling tender, or it might have come as a surprise. Either way, you're very welcome to attend the group.
As a group, we will talk over some aspects of life, with chances to be heard and to hear others in a safe facilitated space. In this way, we can feel less alone, more connected, calmer and better able to cope with the rollercoaster of mothering and life.
The group will also involve some mindful and polyvagal toning practices to help settle the nervous system and for you to learn as a tool you can use in times of difficulty.
Babies are welcome in the space, and there will be moments of offering loving touch. movement and singing to them as well.

Payment
I ask for 50% non-refundable deposit at the point of booking. This holds your space in the group . The balance of payment is due before the first session.
When you pay your deposit, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel a session, please note that the I require a weeks notice, otherwise the full fee is still payable. Your deposit is non-refundable.
The only exceptions to this are bereavements and hospitalisations.
Confidentiality
All sessions are strictly confidential. Please note that I have fortnightly professional supervision in which I discuss my work, but I anonymize clients in these sessions.
If you are attending my classes, I will never bring up the content of these private sessions in a class setting.
The only reason I will break confidentiality is if I feel concerned that you or someone you tell me about is at serious risk of harm. This is a professional safeguarding duty. Wherever possible, I will always try to talk to you about this first.
