Details

A class that will benefit older people (60+) although all are welcome, designed for those who feel isolated or uncomfortable joining a health club or gym, but still wish to remain active and create social connections.

Wear your comfortable garments and bring your mat, although we can supply mats if you don't have one. This is a FREE class, You will be taught various breathing techniques to increase lung capacity, strengthen the nervous system and help to alleviate stress. The aim is to relieve tension and to give you an opportunity to relax and be cared for in a safe, warm, positive environment, whilst taking part in physical activities designed to uplift your spirit.

Each session will end with tea/coffee/drinks/snacks. This will be a time for the group to socialise and meet other members. The venue is the ideal space for nature lovers too as it is surrounded by a green field and the river Roding at the bottom of the green. It is an ideal place to walk together in nature.

We are 3 teachers/facilitators with over 50 years of collective experience leading group activity and well-being sessions in our communities.

Our vision for well-being. Our intention for this class is to get local older residents out and about again and building confidence.
