What will I learn?

This course identifies the role and responsibilities of a SENCO and Behavioural Support Lead. Attendees will work together to develop knowledge through case studies and legal requirements to identify their role in leading an effective culture which meets the individual needs of children with SEND and behavioural support needs.

Who should attend this course

Supporting children’s individual needs is the responsibility of all professionals who care for them. Meeting these needs will involve meeting children’s individual behavioral support needs and or SEND needs. You should attend this course if you lead a team who care for and/ or teach children within a professional setting which includes leading at a school or leading within a role where staff have contact with children and young people in the course of your work, whether in the statutory or voluntary sector.
