Assessment and RE

This half day session is for any primary school teacher interested in improving their current curriculum approach to assessment. The session will involve examining a range of strategies used in Diocesan schools and will consider what makes good practice in RE Assessment. There will be an opportunity to hear from different practitioners and for teachers to develop their own ideas and raise areas of concern. Some activities will be based on the Diocesan RE guidance for assessment and expectations of locally agreed syllabi used by voluntary controlled schools across the Diocese. Links will also be made to the new SIAMS expectations.
