River Chess highlights - valley, views & villages (2401)

Come and join us on an exploration of the beautiful charming Chess Valley. We set off from Little Chalfont village in Metroland and drop down through the woods to the River Chess, a precious chalk stream with crystal clear water following the natural valley contours. Our route will take in highlights such as Neptune Falls, Frogmore water meadows, picturesque villages and Chilterns heritage sites.  We will stop at the watercress beds for refreshments then climb back up the valley, enjoying spectacular views as we go, heading back through historic Chenies Village and past the Manor with its royal connections - and a ghost!
