Details

The English countryside we see today, uniquely beautiful in so many ways, is the result of over 2 millenia of gradually evolving agricultural and commercial use. In a circular route of 6 miles we'll walk through some classically beautiful Chiltern scenery and have a look at various imprints left on the landscape by previous Chiltern settlers, from Stone Age to more recent times.
