About this gathering

On the weekend after the Summer Solstice, we gather for an evening of connection, ancient skill, and twilight discovery.

This is not a silent retreat. It is a living circle—with conversation, laughter, stories around the fire, and the focused thrill of listening for bats as dusk falls.

Your evening will unfold:

✨ 6:00pm – Gather & Ground – Arrival, settling in, and opening our circle

🌿 6:30pm – Mindful Walk & Forage – Gentle wandering, observing and gathering summer's wild abundance (with full permission)

🔥 7:15pm – Fire Skills & Ancestral Connection – Hands-on fire-making, connecting to ourselves, each other, and those who came before

🍵 8:15pm – Campfire Refreshments – Foraged herbal tea, seasonal vegan treats, stories and laughter around the flame

🦇 9:00pm – Bat Walk – Listening for pipistrelles and noctules with bat detectors as twilight deepens

What's included

• All foraging equipment
• All fire-making materials
• Bat detectors (shared use, 7 available)
• Foraged herbal tea & vegan treats
• Intimate group (max 16 women)

What to bring

• Sturdy footwear
• Warm layers (it cools down after sunset)
• A sit mat or blanket
• A reusable cup for tea
• Torch (optional)
• Your own water bottle

• Event goes ahead in all but extreme weather

This circle welcomes all women, including transgender and non-binary individuals who feel a resonance with women-centred space.
