2 day workshop with GAK Trainer Alis Dobler of K-9 Manhunters from Switzerland.
4 handler and 6 spectator places available.
There's also an option to go on the waiting list for a handler place.
A different rural location each day both near Buxton.
Wear sensible footwear and take reasonable precautions for an outdoor sport. You will need a harness for your dog and 10m long line.
There will be 2 trails per team. The length and age of the trails will depend on the team.
Please bring 2 soft scent articles each in a separate screw top jar.
A buff size item is suitable.
Spectators may also be used to lay trails.
If your dog loses the trail and struggles to find it after help then the trail will be called and the dog put back in your vehicle.
Dogs are worked one at a time which means your dog will need to spend time in your vehicle and should be happy to do so.
Aim to arrive 10 -15 mins before the start time so you can let your dog toilet when you get there.
Please remember that this is not training for Search and Rescue but a fun sport.
