Are you looking for a different sort of holiday club where the children are away from screens and enjoying the great outdoors?
At Wildlings the children spend the day outside (shelter on site) as a group. It is child-led so the children decide what they would like to do but have the opportunity to:
create nature crafts, gain plant knowledge, go on scavenger hunts, build dens, developing skills using wood working tools, learn about fire safety and fire lighting and cook on the fire, help feed the animals, learn how to assess and manage risk, learn to challenge themselves and much, much more!
You can book your child in for a full day (9am-3pm) or half day (9am-12pm) as you choose.
Children must be aged 8 and above.
Our site is on a working farm so sessions will get muddy. Children must wear appropriate and old clothing. Layers are needed as we will be spending the whole day outside, shelter is available on site. They must wear waterproof trousers and waterproof coat and wellies or walking boots with thick socks. Waterproof gloves are useful too. In the Winter or Autumn months a woollen hat and scarf may be required too as they are outside all day.
Please also bring a spare set of clothes/ shoes in their bags in case they get wet!
Please bring a packed lunch if your child is staying all day. We will make morning snack on the fire.
