Instructions

🌟 What to bring to class! 🌟

  1. A flat collar and a normal clip lead or double clip lead – please don’t bring retractable leads as these are not suitable in a class environment
    1. If you normally walk your dog in a harness please feel free to bring that too and we can advise on the most suitable type once we see you.
    2. Head collars are also permitted if you use one.
    3. For rewards you can bring you dog’s normal food but please also bring a variety of treats chopped into small pieces such as cooked chicken, sausage or cheese. It is advisable to check beforehand that whatever you bring will not upset their tummies. We recommend something that is soft and smelly and in small pea size pieces.
    4. Toys are also used as rewards so bring your puppies favourite toy. We tend to find soft toys that can be bitten and tugged are best. Please avoid squeaky toys and toys that roll away as these can distract other dogs.
    5. A small chew, a stuffed kong, a licki mat and/or snuffle mat to occupy your puppy whilst we are discussing exercises and to give them a break.
    6. Your dog’s bed for them to relax in between exercises and we use their beds for teaching them some valuable life lessons.
    7. You may find it easier to sit on the floor for some of the exercises so please wear comfortable clothes.
    8. Grooming brush.
    9. Poo bags
    10. Water and water bowl.
