Defensive Driving Course.

**These classes will run provided NS Government does not imposed restrictions.***

Canada Safety Council certified instructors offer this one-day standard course throughout Canada and we are pleased to have it here at DLC. This is an established, proven program and is designed for the adult learner. This meets the requirements of Nova Scotia's exit from the Graduated Licensing Program or may be used for up to 4 points on the license.

We hold classroom courses on demand and limit the size of our courses so that our instructors can encourage discussion and with COVID-19 we will be maxing this class out at 9. We ask that all participants bring a mask and a pen or pencil.

Those that do not being these items may be asked to leave the class and will be considered the same as a no show.

The course:

Complete concepts are presented so they are easily understood.
Materials are fully integrated so drivers learn the principles of defensive driving and essential collision avoidance techniques.

Support materials:

Along with the course, you get a comprehensive student manual which consolidates course content and provides interactive exercises. When you successfully complete the course you receive a certificate.

Note: Prepayment must be made before the course either online, over the phone or in person (M-F, 9-4) at the center.
