New students are welcome to join the course at any time
Whether you wish to improve your flexibility for dance, sports, or general fitness & well-being, this class will help you to strengthen your muscles and increase your range of movement.
We will use a mix of exercises from contortion and yoga to improve your posture and alignment, and ultimately achieve greater overall flexibility in your body.
What to expect from the class?
Exercises for upper back strength and flexibility
Hamstrings exercises (preparation for split)
Hip rotation and hip opening (middle split)
Breathing techniques in back bends (wheel, cobra, seal pose)
Advanced back bends.
Understand how to stretch and relax different muscle groups
Increase the range of motion in the main joints
Improve your dance ability (if this is your goal)
There are easier and advanced variations for every person and so your current ability is not an issue. Whether you are just starting flexibility training, want to get back to flat splits you once had, or struggling with your back bends, this course will have plenty of tips and tricks to get you there with regular practice!

Homework may be given for between classes (different exercises depending on each person's body).
