This class will teach you how to weave an Adirondack pack basket in the same style of the classic basket using rattan reed instead of the traditional ash splint. We will also incorporate a wooden base, runners and hardwood handle. Each participant will also receive a web harness to use with their basket. This is a large basket with some shaping that may be difficult for a new weaver. Previous basket weaving experience and commitment to a two day class is preferred for this challenging project.
