Details

Our brand new yoga teacher’s Training Network offers a number of ways for teachers to support each other, learn together and connect on our common purpose.

We recognise that being a yoga teacher can often be an isolating experience and we know that community should be at the heart of what we do

Our first Community Connections Workshop is 'Sustaining Ourselves as Yoga Teachers' and our Guest Teacher is Norman Blair.

Norman Blair has been teaching yoga since 2001. His book - Brightening Our Inner Skies: yin and yoga - was first published in 2016 and has been reprinted twice; he has been teaching Yin yoga trainings since 2013.

Norman sees yoga as a beautiful way of being that will enhance your life, welcome you back to your body, release habitual tension and encourage a greater focus and quality of mind. He has trained with teachers such as Hamish Hendry, Judith Lasater, Richard Freeman, Alaric Newcombe and Sarah Powers.

Timings: 1 – 4pm (Online)

Instructions

On booking your online class you will receive a confirmation email and zoom link.

Please note you will need to download the latest edition of Zoom.

Preparation

Wear comfortable clothes and if you can have a blanket and a couple of cushions handy.

A few things about online streaming

When you join, your audio and video will automatically be muted.  Feel free to unmute yourself and say hello at the start or end of the class. We love to hear how you're doing! During the practice we will mute everyone so there is no distracting background noise.

You can decide to have your video switched on, which means the teacher (and everyone else participating) can see you, turn this off if you prefer no one to see you.

If you are on 'gallery view' you will be able to see all your fellow students. We recommend once we start practice that you switch to speaker view so that you can see them clearly and don't get distracted by watching yourself or anyone else on screen.

Remember to make sure you have plenty of battery on your device and are as close to the Wifi source as possible.

We look forward to seeing you there!
