Cog Creative Space is a professional boutique photographic studio nestled in Norwood, 5 mins from the city. The studio is shared by 6 imaging professionals, and run by photographer Sam Oster. Sam teaches at the University of South Australia and runs workshops all over South Australia for different organisations. Specialist courses in photographic studio lighting, small flash (speedlights and portable location flash units), and Adobe Lightroom are also run at the studio for small groups. Sam is a qualified trainer and has over 20 years teaching photography. These workshops are jam-packed with practical hands-on sessions, and are always lively and fun. We also have the Tintype Traveller on site - a mobile darkroom that is available for hire - and we have regular workshops and events around traditional photography - specialising in Tintypes but also other techniques.

Our main trainers are Sam Oster, Chris Holmes & Cynthia Gemus, but we also bring guest lecturers in on a regular basis.
