Hybrid Online EMT Basic

The cost of the Hybrid Online EMT course is $1200.

You do not have to wait to start the class on the date listed. Once you sign up on this site you will be sent an email will forms to fill out. Once you return those forms you will be sent the access information and start the program at that point.

The Hybrid Online EMT course is designed for students unable to attend a traditional classroom setting due to work or school. This class will consist of online modules including power points, interactive lectures, case studies, video review, and chapter quizzes. There is mandatory classroom time twice a week for students to be exposed to new skills, practice sessions, lecture review, skills testing, and written exams. We will meet each 2 times per week for 3 weeks. The meeting days are Saturday and Sunday. A specific schedule Can be found at the bottom of this section. The classes are 8 hours in length. Students will be allowed to join classes only after they have completed all 41 chapters.

Once you have signed up for the class and paid the non-refundable deposit you will be sent an email with the link and login information for your class. You will then have access to all the online content and can start your program at that point. You will need to come to every class starting after you finish the 41st chapter online. DO NOT COME TO THE DATE AND TIME LISTED ABOVE.

To pay the deposit ($600) or the full amount, you will fill out the forms that are emailed to you from American EMT Academy. You can pay cash, check or credit card either in person, on the phone or via the internet. There is a non-refundable fee of $500 after you have accessed the online course.

After the online and in-person skill and exams are completed, the student will attend (2) 12-hour ambulance ride alongs in which you must have a minimum of 10 patient contacts. Once that has been completed the student will receive a course completion certification allowing them to take the National Registry Exam.
