Rambert studio with Brenda
Start from the complete beginning and learn the ballet basics. From the names of the steps to the movements. This class is suitable whether you’ve never taken a ballet class before, or perhaps you’ve been once or twice. But if you’re an advanced ballet dancer wanting to go back to basics, a great way to refresh your foundations. Brenda was a dancer in the Rambert Company for seven years and we love having her back in the studio.
Classes will be socially distanced and we’re committed to providing a safe environment where all participants are confident to take part.
Instrucciones
Classes take place at Rambert, 99 Upper Ground SE1 9PP. We have a fully accessible building, including accessible toilets and showers. There is on-street parking for Blue Badge holders with step-free access to the building, and lifts to all levels.
Changing facilities are available on the first floor, however we ask that you come ready for class where possible. A water fountain is available on the second floor- please bring your own reuse-able bottle for this.
You can wear whatever your are comfortable moving in, and you're welcome to wear dance shoes if you have them (although no dark/black soles) or bare-feet. Please make sure you have removed jewellery before class, and long hair is tied back. Please note, as the studios are used by our professional dancers we ask that you refrain from using hair products and body lotions as these can make the floor slippery.
