As Canada celebrates 150 years of greatness, join us as we take a step back in time to prepare a menu of traditional Island dishes and recipes from days-gone-by. In this class, we will visit the birthplace of Anne of Green Gables author L. M. Montgomery to see what life was like at the time of Confederation and then return to The Table where we will use locally grown organic vegetables, fresh meats and seafood to create our taste of the past. Our journey through time is completed by dining on antique china and sharing Island stories with a local storyteller. Anyone for some raspberry cordial?
