5 week taster course: Tuesdays, 6pm-9pm, 3rd September - 1st October

For beginners: These classes provide an insight into the possibilities of working with clay. Weeks 1-4 you will be introduced to different techniques such as hand building, throwing and decorating through demonstrations and plenty of hands on exercises. Week 5 you will be taken through the glazing process and glaze the work you have made. These sessions will be held in the class area of The Kiln Rooms where we like to create a comfortable, fun environment for everyone to enjoy. No need to bring anything with you as we’ll provide all materials, tools, aprons and equipment needed.

A course costs £230 per person and this includes all materials and firings, meaning that there are no additional costs. This course will take place between 6pm - 9pm on Tuesdays at our Farringdon studio.

In the event of non-attendance or arriving late to classes it is not possible to provide alternative studio time, or for a class to be rescheduled. Classes are at fixed times to cover the cost of tuition. We run at full capacity so it is not possible to swap classes or use the studio outside of the allotted class times to 'catch up'.

Refunds: 20 days or more before the start date of a course or session, we can provide a full refund (minus a £5 booking fee). Between 20 and 10 days prior to the start of a course or session we will refund 50% of the total fees paid (minus a £5 booking fee). We provide NO refunds 9 days before the start date of the course or session. Once the course begins there are no refunds.
