Nourish Your Relationship - A Valentine's Tantric Celebration for Couples

Do you love your partner yet find that most of your time is spent simply ‘doing things’ together?

Perhaps you have fond memories of the beginning of your relationship. Frisson and excitement characterise the honeymoon period. But, inevitably, the business of building a life together moves us out of a heart-to-heart embrace and places us shoulder-to-shoulder so that we can deal with those tasks and responsibilities which inevitably arise.

Managing the pressures of family, home and careers probably take up most of your time and energy. You may be yearning for that more meaningful connection with your partner that has been lost along the way. You’d love to re-establish an erotic spark – or turn up the flame! – with your partner but don’t really know how to go about it.

The problem with our busy lives is that we don’t get to invest in what is most precious to us. We simply don’t have the time or know where to begin. But just as our physical bodies need nourishing with healthy food, rest and exercise, we also need to nourish our connection. Psychologists sometimes refer to a relationship as ‘the third’, which exists in its own right and needs healthy attention from each of us in order to flourish.

This weekend retreat offers you the chance to spend quality time as a couple in the idyllic Devon countryside. We will be staying at Middle Coombe Farm, situated near Tiverton, between Exmoor and the coast.

It’s a beautiful sixteenth-century farmhouse with an open fire and a courtyard with hot tub.

There will be delicious veggie meals prepared by a local caterer, including a special Valentine’s celebration dinner on the Saturday evening.

We will lead you through a programme of rituals, exercises and explorations taken from modern tantra that will invite you to deepen your heart connection and fan the erotic spark between you. There will also be plenty of time to enjoy the facilities and surrounding countryside.

By the end of the weekend, you will have re-connected to your partner at the levels of heart, sex and spirit; given your relationship the air and space it needs to flourish; and learnt tools and techniques that you can carry over into your daily lives to feed your relationship on an ongoing basis.

Jon and Rose Skelton Pearson are teachers of John Hawken’s Paths of Transformation. They teach the year-long trainings ‘Lovemaking for Couples’ in the Czech Republic and ‘Sacred Body Passionate Spirit’ in the UK. They are also facilitators for Awaken As Love. These are both internationally-acclaimed modern tantra schools.

Jon is also a psychotherapist with 25 years’ experience of working both with individuals and couples.

Rose has a background in massage and bodywork therapy as well as working with couples from a tantric perspective.

They have learnt about the challenges of relationship from their own experience of learning to live with each other on a day-to-day basis and know from first-hand experience that a desire to grow together will reap dividends in terms of intimacy and connection.

This weekend is for couples of all genders and orientations who wish to deepen their connection and invest in their relationship. Everything we offer is invitational and you can do as much or as little as feels comfortable to you. No previous experience of tantra is necessary and all that is required is an openness to what might be possible.

You should aim to arrive during the afternoon on Friday 10th February; the program will commence after supper. The program will end on Sunday afternoon. However, you are invited to stay for supper, enjoy a romantic final night in the accommodation and leave after breakfast on Monday 13th.

Investment price is £600 per couple. This includes all accommodation, food, amenities and tuition.
