FWTSA is delighted to offer a Beginners’ Workshop which provides a practical introduction to the Makaton Language Programme.

Sessions include discussing commonly asked questions, hints and tips for effective signing and symbol use and how to start using Makaton in everyday situations at home or work.

You will also learn the signs and symbols for Stages 1-4 and Additional of the Core Vocabulary.

This course is recommended for parents, carers, workers and professionals who need to use Makaton at home and in their work place.

The course will be delivered by Jo Rayns, a Licenced Makaton Tutor and experienced communication technician.

The Beginners’ Workshop is made up of 4 modules over 2 days
(Delegates must be able to attend both sessions)

On some occasions it may be necessary to block other cars, this isn’t a problem as we will note your car registration number when you sign in. Please ensure to bring your school ID to show at reception when you sign in.
