LIFE DRAWING - WEEKEND workshops with Jen Robson and Kirsty Whiten (on alternate days)

Saturday Session
12th March
10.30am - 3.30pm
£72 per session

(Also available to book is the Sunday session, 13th March 10.30am - 3.30pm https://bookwhen.com/forganarts/e/ev-syrq-20220313103000)

A graduate of Drawing and Painting from Edinburgh College of Art, Kirsty Whiten is a figurative artist working in her studio in Fife and exhibiting widely. Drawing from the model is an important and vibrant part of her practice, and this workshop is about sharing that passion.

A local WASPS artist and Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design graduate who has been teaching adult drawing classes for 8 years from her Dundee studio, Jen has delivered confidence building sessions for teachers in portrait, drawing, music and painting workshops.

You can work at any level in a relaxed group. Jen and Kirsty will be there to offer support, advice and demonstrations of technique to you where you might want it.

You will spend the workshop developing your drawings with the model. There will be a variety of short poses to warm up and longer poses to allow time for more involved drawings. The focus will be on being present, observing intently and responding to what is there in the moment.

The weekend will really build your confidence and deepen your experience of drawing from life, working with a model, and finding your own unique style of expression.

Please note, there is no access to kitchen facilities such as kettles or microwave at this time, so please bring your own flask of tea/coffee, and a lunch that does not require further heating.
