Fundraiser For Rosie

‘The Ultimate Event Raffle’ is a fundraiser for beautiful Rosie, who has just turned eight years old.

Very sadly, Rosie was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive brain tumour in November. During surgery, she also suffered a stroke. Heartbreakingly, her family have been told that, with the type of brain tumour she has, she is unlikely to live beyond two years.

This is such an unbearable situation, and we felt we needed to do something. We want to raise money for the family so they are able to care for Rosie in whatever way is needed — whether that’s supporting her medical needs, enabling special days out if she is well enough, or helping to alleviate the financial pressures her parents are facing.

They are both currently unable to work as they care full-time for Rosie and her siblings. Rosie’s mum Jemma, is a self-employed cake maker, and her dad, Michael, works locally for Treatt.

We wanted to show our support and love and, as we are all in the party and events industry, this felt like the best way to do that. All of the suppliers have generously given their time, expertise and products/services free of charge, and 100% of the £20 ticket price (minus the platform’s small online booking fee) will go directly to the family.
