This stay 'n' play is for babies and children age 0 - 5 years and their carer. The forest is a sensory rich environment for young people beginning to learn about their world. Non-walkers can expect to get wonderfully grubby whilst emersing themselves in the sights, sounds, textures and smells of the natural world, playing with loose parts and taking first steps across the leaf litter. Hammocks are hung for a gentle rest (mums and dads can climb in too!) and there's always plenty of shelter.
Walking children can expect to learn to play the forest school way. Plenty of rope games, slacklines, climbing, rolling, stories and songs! Weather-permitting a campfire will provide focus, warmth and tasty snacks. Drinks and snacks provided.
Sessions are led by an experienced, qualified and paediatric / outdoor first aider assisted by one of our work experience students (themselves ex-forest schooled).

Parking is roadside, along the edge of the forest. Please do not park at Horton Lodge or in the school car park.
A Greenwood Growth banner will be clearly visible at the entrance to the woods. Our team will be there to welcome you.
Please note there is no access to the school playing fields or main building.
