Hainault Forest Wassail 2023

Details

Join us this January for our annual Wassail!

This ancient tradition is held to celebrate orchards, awaken fruit trees, and encourage a good future harvest.

This year we will begin our celebrations with a family volunteer day, mulching and formative pruning our orchards whilst enjoying stories from the storyteller, Rich Stories. Then we will make delicious caramelised apples around the campfire, accompanied by music from our volunteers and lots of warm apple juice and cider.

We will finish our Wassail with a traditional procession led by Rich.

This event is a family event with children aged 5 and up.
