This ticket is for use either on the bank or boat (boat bookings must be made separately at additional cost) and allows the user to catch fish on the basis of fly fishing using barbless hooks and all fish must be returned to the reservoir.
Your permit is only valid when used in conjunction with an EA Rod Licence.
The permit is valid The car park gates will be closed and locked half an hour before sunset. You should seek advice from the onsite Ranger about sunset times on the day of your permit.
Please be aware that dogs, BBQs and alcohol are prohibited, and only anglers are allowed on the dam wall. (As per government guidelines, you are allowed to fish with members from your house hold. This permit allows children aged 8-16 to fish for free when purchased for an adult). We are not allowing any spectators on the dam wall.
Permits can be purchased on the day of your visit or in advance.
In order to manage the site effectively, please note that there will be a limited number of permits available per day and these will be on a first come first serve basis. The rangers will ask to see your permit on your arrival so please be prepared to show them the original email confirmation and quote your booking reference.
