Would you like to come and join me for some postnatal yoga?
I’d love to welcome you and your baby to our group
We will take it very slowly in our 6 weeks block. We will start with reconfiguration and recovery for the body, also rehabilitation and rebuilding. We will focus on the pelvic floor and core as well as the rest of the body. We will discuss the journey we have been on into parenthood and opening our hearts to our new family.
Other than the yoga this will be a great place to meet some other new parent's and babies, and to socialise via the WhatsApp group.
This class is suitable after birth from:
6 weeks following a vaginal birth
8/10 weeks following a birth with intervention e.g. forceps.
12 weeks following a caesarean birth
You are welcome to attend until your babies are on the move and able to crawl around.
I really hope to meet you and your baby soon.
There is plenty of parking right outside, and there is a lot of space for prams or car seats inside.
Please don’t worry about your baby crying, if you need to feed them or change their nappy. Everyone will be in the same boat and these things are to be expected.
Due to the ongoing pandemic if you have your own yoga mat please can you bring this with you. If you don't have one please let me know and I will provide one. Please also bring a blanket or something comfortable for your baby to lie on next to your yoga mat. I would advise bringing some water.
