This is for the Spring Block #2 of Contemporary 60+
These classes invite adults to explore the foundations of contemporary dance and move through a range of structured and improvised sequences to music. Classes move gently through the studio exploring weight, space and time through movement and music.
A wonderful opportunity to explore contemporary techniques and discover creative movement in a friendly and safe environment. Open to all aged 60 + regardless of dance experience, mobility, or health.

Thursdays 1.00 – 2.00pm
Class runs for 1 hour followed by tea & cake (a chance to socialise).
Our sessions are steady, moving through a series of dance exercises, improvisation, and relaxation.
Classes are open to adults aged 60+ and beyond.
No experience necessary!
Class Information
Class takes place in the DANCE STUDIO in the main hall at The Camden Centre
Sam Blackden will lead the class and provide tea and cake after the session
What to Wear: Please dress comfortably and be able to move freely.
T-shirts, vests, leggings, loose trousers, jogging are bottoms all welcome.
To get the best out of our movement, we dance in bare feet.
Ballet or soft shoe Jazz shoes also welcome.
Bring a water bottle!
