Drama Makers

Drama Hub Afterschool Club is a fun, safe and creative environment where children are given the space to explore and achieve. Our objective is to support classroom learning by helping children grow in confidence, find focus and realise the importance of working together.

Throughout the term we explore drama with fun games and exercises. Drama games help us to improve our focus, listening and teamwork. We learn to collaborate and value each others ideas. Each term our Drama Makers create a piece of theatre together to share at the end of term sharing with their families.

Classes are run by Davina, an experienced drama teacher who since training as an actor in 2003, went on to work as an Associate Director with Page One Theatre Company. She runs drama workshops for all ages within theatres, schools and in further education. Using play and imagination, participants are encouraged to collaborate and create original stories in a supportive environment.

All staff DBS certified. Safety measures will be in place to make us covid-secure.
