Introduction to: Swing, Jive and Stroll

Classes take place at Rambert, 99 Upper Ground SE1 9PP. We have a fully accessible building, including accessible toilets and showers. There is on-street parking for Blue Badge holders with step-free access to the building, and lifts to all levels.

Changing facilities are available on the first floor, however, we ask that you come ready for class where possible. A water fountain is available on the second floor- please bring your own reuse-able bottle for this.

You can wear whatever your are comfortable moving in, and you're welcome to wear dance shoes if you have them (although no dark/black soles) or bare-feet. Please make sure you have removed jewellery before class, and long hair is tied back. Please note, as the studios are used by our professional dancers we ask that you refrain from using hair products and body lotions as these can make the floor slippery.

Our safety procedures are to ensure a safe environment for all, and so we ask that everyone- participants, staff, and teachers alike- abide by these as much as possible.

You will be required to wear a mask from arrival in the building, including during class (although this does not apply if you have a medical exemption, or for children aged 11 and under).

We ask that you arrive on time (and no more than five minutes early) and dressed ready to go where this is possible (if not, changing facilities are available), so that we can minimise groups waiting in the reception area. On arrival, there will be hand sanitiser and a temperature check station, where a member of the reception take your temperature. If your temperature is above 37.5 degrees after a second try, you will not be able to enter the studio and will be offered a refund for that class.

Cancellation Policy:
If you wish to cancel a term booking, you may do so before the start of term and your fee will be refunded in full.
If you cancel within 14 days of the course starting, you will be refunded your fee minus any classes that have already taken place. Alternatively, you can switch to another level of class for free of charge (subject to availability).
After 14 days from the start of term, your fee will only be refunded in cases of illness or injury where a valid doctor’s note is provided.
Classes are non-transferable, and so we cannot offer alternatives at a later date if you miss a class.
Drop-in rates can be refunded in full up until the class takes place.
