Tara has joined forces with Maidenhead Sailing Club so if you join the club you can learn to paddle on the lake inexpensively and have access to boards and kayaks too.

Want to get proficient at SUP- stand up paddleboarding (kneeling /sitting too); recommend 5 sessions to learn the ways of the river and then the 6th session is free. Just scroll down and book onto anyone of the events, they are all suitable for beginners, except the SUP Sundays morning sessions.
Board hire & tuition More than 3 people - £35 a person for a 90 minute paddle board experience. A group is normally no more than 6-8 paddlers. Most sessions are suitable for beginners and they all includes board, paddle and leash ( not shoes or clothes) and tuition.
Learning to Paddle board is wonderful way to challenge yourself and do something different; fitness, core strength and balance whilst enjoying the beauty for the Thames.
We are spoilt for choices near Maidenhead, with many access points to launch anywhere from Henley to Windsor.
Most session are marked BYO - Bring your own paddleboard are for those with there own boards wanting to improve their foot and board skills and explore in the safety of a group.
