This workshop for libraries offers detailed training on electronic resource management in Sierra and Millennium. It is applicable all types of libraries, including those using the Innovative Knowledge Base or another vendor for coverage data as well as those getting coverage data directly from publishers. The workshop is designed to cover all areas of electronic resource management within your Innovative system.

At the conclusion of this course the user will be familiar with the following:

-Creating and using resource, license, and contact records
-The recording structure of ERM and relationships between these record types including direct and soft-linking
-Creating and using ERM ticklers
-Understanding and maintaining the Coverage Spreadsheet Conversion Rules
-Sources for coverage files, including the Innovative Knowledge Base, and editing coverage files for ERM loads
-Loading coverage data and reviewing the coverage loading reports
-Viewing and editing the coverage database
-Statistical reports available from ERM
-Where to edit the display of ERM data in WebPAC

Prerequisites:ERM must be installed your library’s system.
