This class is held in person.
Topics include developing communication skills, active involvement in evidence-based decision making, pelvic dynamics and understanding baby positioning for a smoother and more efficient labor, understanding reasons for and the process of hospital transfer, the emotional and physical aspects of the labor process, natural comfort measures and movement for the management of labor discomfort, and more. Brittany encourages an environment where expectant parents and their partners, if applicable, feel secure in exploring their options and developing their own priorities while building positive communication skills and confidence for their labors and births.
